It is your right to ask doctors to work with you in organizing your healthcare information in ways best for you.
What would my doctor's attitude be towards being recorded?
We've seen that most doctors agree to be recorded.
In a study, a quarter of the doctors surveyed actually offered recordings to their patients, knowing that it would help improve their health. Some doctors prefer to verbalize a summary of key points discussed at the end of the visit, instead of having the entire conversation recorded.
Doctors always like to hear that their patients want to better remember and organize their healthcare information for the benefit of their health.
